Our Family inductions are designed for new climbers and their children to get fit and have fun bouldering together as a family.

Course Information

Our instructors will guide you through climbing in a fun, safe and responsible way. This is a 1-hour session for a maximum of two adults and four children. The family induction teaches not only the essentials of bouldering and using the centre safely together but also covers the essential techniques and concepts surrounding movement, as well as style and etiquette used by the climbers.

Adults over 18’s, children 6 and over 

The family induction includes:

- Expert instruction

- Life time registration for the whole family at Bloc (Your children will need to be supervised by a registered adult while in the centre.)

- Day entry (climb for as long as you like following the induction)

- Shoe hire

Please wear gym type clothes and trainers. We will provide climbing shoes, socks are advised.

£70 for up to two people plus £9 per additional child (capped at 1 adult and 2 children or 2 adults and 4 children)

We require 48 hours' notice before the event date in order to cancel and rebook. Please send us a message on the contact us link below in order to cancel. As soon as the office is open, someone will be in touch. The office is open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm including bank holidays.
