Adult Bouldering Induction and Kids Clip 'n Climb

Two fun Friday evening sessions designed for all the family to enjoy. Our Group Induction will provide parents/guardians with everything from guidance on safe climbing to tips on stretching and movement together with a guided tour to familiarise you with our centre, whilst your kids will enjoy the Clip 'n Climb arena. They will be climbing on various purpose-built walls, which are designed to encourage and inspire young climbers while being supervised by our instructors.

COURSE INFORMATION

Adult Group Induction

Our inductions are designed for new adult climbers 18+ and those who would like a refresher on the unique experience of indoor Bouldering. Our instructors will guide you through climbing in a fun, safe, and responsible way. This is a one-hour session for people wanting to learn, not only the essentials of bouldering and using the centre safely but also wishing to have a firm idea of essential techniques and concepts surrounding movement, as well as style and etiquette used by the climbers with years of experience.

Kid Clip 'n Climb

Clip'n Climb is a welcoming and inclusive session for all with little or no experience in indoor climbing. This one hour session includes a safety briefing, harness fitting, and a 45 minute climbing session, on our purpose built Clip'n Climb walls. You will be climbing with the aid of an auto belay device and instruction will be given before and during your session. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to check in and check waivers have been completed. Due to the popularity of some sessions, we can not guarantee that you will be able to experience every climb, this includes the leap of faith.

Kid Clip 'n Climb - 4 years and over

£33 per adult

After finishing the induction each inducted adult will be able to sign in up to two non-registered climbers, including children who were part of the Clip 'n Climb session. You will need to do so back at the reception with one of our staff members. 

Bookings can only be made by adults (18+).

- You only pay if you are climbing. Feel free to attend and just watch.
- Adults must check in and remain on-site throughout the session.
- If you are paying with a voucher, email info@blocclimbing.co.uk to book your session.
- Leap of Faith minimum height is 1.25m (4ft 1'') tall.
- The session lasts one hour and consists of climbing, safety briefing, and harnessing (in the clip 'n climb arena).
- You MUST complete your waivers before you arrive.

The induction includes:

- Expert instruction
- Life time registration to Bloc
- Day entry
- Shoe hire

Please wear gym-type clothes and trainers. We will provide climbing shoes, and socks are advised.

We require 48 hours' notice before the event date in order to cancel and rebook. Please send us a message on the contact us link below in order to cancel. As soon as the office is open, someone will be in touch. The office is open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm including bank holidays.
