Bouldering competition this Thursday (4/6/15)

Coaching-Sessions

This Thursday the 4th of June will see our first bouldering competition in what feels like an eternity!

We are so keen to host another competition and see the results of all your hard work and training through the winter.

On Wednesday we will setting a full collection of weird and wonderfully interesting problems for you to pitch yourselves against. From the easiest of blocs to the hardest, there will a be a variety of styles to suit all climbers. The problems are often different from the usual set and some may not be in situ after the event so make sure you come down and try them on the night, plus its much more fun to watch and heckle you friends while they struggle along with you with.

As always our climbing competitions are more like socials, come down to catch up with friends, grab a coffee, climb or even just come down to the watch the climbing. The finals will be at 9pm and never disappoint to excite the crowd and keep everyone keen to train.

The qualification/main climbing round is starting at 4pm, it’s a open round for climbers of all ages and abilities, however we will be splitting up results in 3 categories instead of our usual 2. This time we will have junior (under 16), adults (16 and above) and vets (over 40). The final will hold the best of the women and men from all 3 categories.

The final results will be announced on completion, with the qualification results announced as soon as we can, normally by the next evening.

Hopefully see you all here and good luck.
